The migrant worker was shot in Alipurduar, Bengal

Police said on Tuesday on Tuesday that Kolkata, 23 September (IANS), a migrant worker, who recently returned to his hometown in Alipurduar district of West Bengal.

Police said the deceased was identified as Subhash Kujur, who was a migrant laborer in New Delhi.

According to his neighbors, he came to Elippperduar for a holiday two days earlier for the Durga Puja Festival.

According to the statement given by the local people to the police, Kujur was returning by a motorcycle through a road passing through the Baxa Tiger Reserve in the area on Monday night, when he was stopped by a group of criminals who shot him and quickly moved to the spot.

Police said that local villagers went to the spot, shifted Kujur to Alipurdar District Hospital, where they were declared dead by doctors.

The body of the deceased person was sent for the post -mortem examination, and the local police has started a detailed investigation into the case.

According to the statement made by the police by Sabsh’s wife, Aarti Kujur, the family quarrel on a land dispute was probably the reason behind his death.

Kujur’s wife said, “The family quarrel was more than a land dispute that was going on since 2008. A legal battle has also been going on in this case.

A district police officer said that the way the dead person was first caught and then shot from a close distance, and that too on his head proves that professional killers were hired for murder.
