donald trump Epstein asked his accuser virginia giuffre If she could take care of the children during their first meeting Mar-a-Lago club, according to his posthumous memoir,
In the copy received by Independent, Giuffre wrote that he was introduced to Trump by his father. Appointed as locker room attendant In the summer of 2000. She said that within days of the start, her father, who was then a maintenance man at Mar-a-Lago, Introduced him to Trump in his office,
“Trump couldn’t have been friendlier, he told me it was great I was there,” she wrote. “‘Do you like kids?’ he asked. ‘Do you care for children at all?’
The book says Trump told Giuffre that he owned several homes in the area that he lent to friends, many of whom had children who needed care.

She told him that she had previously been babysitting, and was soon earning extra money a few nights a week “looking after the children of the elite class”.
Giuffre Wrote in his memoirs, Nobody’s girl, That Trump and his father “were not really friends”, but that “Dad worked hard, and Trump liked that.”
He explained that a $9 an hour job as a locker room attendant, “usually handing out towels in the locker room”, was an opportunity to get back on his feet after dropping out of high school.
“It was my day job that gave me my first real vision of a better future,” she said, adding that “whenever possible” she would “question massage therapists” about what they did and how they learned to do it.
A few weeks before her 17th birthday in August, Giuffre said she was headed to the spa Ghislaine Maxwell Saw him for the first time. Giuffre reflected that she thought she would be “lucky” if she could grow up to be something like a “decorated” British socialite.

She claimed Maxwell approached her, introduced himself and said she knew “a rich man” and “longtime Mar-a-Lago member” who was looking for a massage therapist to travel with him.
“He loves helping people,” Giuffre recalled telling Maxwell.
Giuffre said she did not have training as a massage therapist, but she hoped to and was invited to interview anyway.
The memoir continues to describe years of alleged abuse by Epstein, his elite circle, and Maxwell, whom she said “took the role of mother to Epstein’s dysfunctional family of underage girls”.
As stated in the memoir, according to the 2020 book, Trump banned Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club for allegedly “hitting” another member’s daughter. Grifters Club,
Trump said earlier this year that he had a falling out with Epstein after he “stolen” young women who worked at his Mar-a-Lago club spa.

Returning from a trip to Scotland in July, Trump said, “They took people, I say ‘don’t do that anymore’, you know they work for me… plus, they took some other people too.” “Once he did that, it was the end of him.” He further said that he kicked Epstein out of his club for being “disrespectful”.
Trump said one of the young women was Giuffre, who he said started working at the club in the summer of 2000, when she was 16. Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025 at the age of 41.
Trump has faced ongoing political pressure in the US to release the Justice Department files on Epstein, not least from his supporters, some of whom have accused the administration of engaging in a cover-up to protect influential people.
The president himself has not been accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein, but he has faced repeated calls to explain his past friendship with the fellow New Yorker, whom he knew socially in the 1990s and early 2000s when they were neighbors in Palm Beach.
Trump has insisted that the two men had a falling out long before Epstein was accused of sex trafficking.
