A kidnapper tried to snatch a baby girl from her mother outside an ice cream shop blackpool,
Nicolette Goldrick, 51, of Marton Drive, the parents of a seven-month-old baby, were nearby. blackpoolWearing sunglasses and a medical-type face mask, he walked up to the car, released the brakes, and attempted to drive away.
The child’s parents and passersby intervened and the child was unharmed. Goldrick left the scene, and a report was made to the police.
Goldrick returned to the scene hours later and immediately left when the girl’s parents recognized him. He was later tracked down and arrested on suspicion of kidnapping. He then spat at police officers and was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
Goldrick was charged with attempted kidnapping and simple assault. He pleaded guilty in July and was sentenced to twelve months in prison and given a five-year restraining order Preston Crown Court,
