Palestine Action After the High Court judge refuses to issue an interim order, the end of this week will be officially banned as an accused terrorist group.
Shri Justice Chamberlain On Saturday midnight, an application was refused to “interim relief” to temporarily stop the law banning the group to be implemented at midnight.
It comes as the co-founder of the group, Huda Ammori, tries to bring one Valid challenge Home Secretary Yatete Cooper’s decision to prosecute the group under the Terrorism Act 2000 against the Home Office.
The proposal will subscribe or support a criminal offense for a prison sentence up to 14 years.
It was announced on 20 June after two Woyzer aircraft were damaged at RAF Brise Norton in Oxfordshire, due to which police said that there was a loss of about 7 million pounds.
Hundreds of protesters were waving the Palestinian flags and signs outside the Justice’s royal courts during the hearing on Friday, saying “Free Palestine” and “WeR All Palestine Action”.
Representing Ms. Ammori, Raza Hussain Casey said: “This is the first time in our history that a direct action has been sought to prosecute a direct action civil disobedience group, which does not advocate violence.”
Mr. Hussain said that Ms. Ammori wished to take action “to prevent the loss before it happened” Ms. Ammori was “inspired by the long tradition of direct action in this country”.
Quoting Ms. Ammori, Barrister said that the group had “never harmed any person” and its goal is to keep themselves in the path of a military machine “.
He asked the judge to suspend the “sick, discriminatory and totalitarian” decision to prosecute the group by 21 July, when a comprehensive challenge is about to be heard.
He said, “The state secretary has still not expressed adequately or provided evidence of a national security reason that the prosecution should now be implemented,” he said.
However, Ben Watson Casey, for the Home Office, reported that there was a “impossible barrier” in the bid to temporarily block the ban.
Barrister also said that if a temporary block was provided, it would be “severe disintegration of legal rule”.
Another hearing to decide whether Ms. Ammori will be given a green light to challenge the government’s decision to be held later in July.
Ms. Cooper said the barbarity of the two aircraft was “disgusting” and that the group had “a long history of unacceptable criminal damage”, as she had announced a plan to ban them last month.
Before supporting the move without a vote on Thursday, the House of Lords voted 385 to 26 in favor of prosecuting the group, 385 to 26, 359 in favor of prosecuting the group.
Four people -Amy Gardiner -Gibson, 29, Johnny Sink, 24, Daniel Jerenomides -Nori, and 22, Louis Chiamelo, all have been accused in connection with the incident.
He appeared in the Westminster Magistrate’s court on Thursday, when under the Criminal Law Act 1977, accused of conspiring to deliberately enter a prohibited place for the security of the United Kingdom or for prejudice for interests.
He was sent to custody and will appear in Old Bailey on 18 July.
Counter Terrorism Policing South East said on Wednesday that a 41 -year -old woman was arrested on suspicion of assistance of a criminal, who was released on bail by September 19, and a 23 -year -old man who was arrested was released without any charge.
