The government remained closed due to the second round of voting in the Senate today:
The risk that these loser in Congress are now facing now is that the longer life will run without the government, the more people will start asking soon why we need them …
I felt that this clip of Laura Ingraham is absolutely correct … These are the Democrats that are “really, really unfair” – because they are!
President Trump is perfect to let it last for weeks, months or years. I think it is really better for him that it lasts as long as it is.
So Chak Shumar has hidden himself in one corner: he either lives in the cave and everyone knows that he has lost, or he loses in a long game.
Martha: Mike Tobin in Chicago, thanks.
With this, we have brought hosts Laura Ingraham Ingraham angle.
We just saw that the Chicago Police Department was never ordered to stand. You see the opposite evidence, but this video is incredible.
Laura, what is your opinion on what you are seeing in Chicago?
Laura: I saw her full performance, and she was long.
And it reminded me something else – remember, it depends on what the word “is” from Bill Clinton means?
Listen carefully to what they said. He said, “I will never tell anyone to say, stand up.”
But the transcript does not say “stand up.” It is called, “We will not send anyone there.” So, you know, I do not know that he is playing this game, but the transcript does not lie – nor the remittance audio lies.
He decided not to help the federal officials.
They may claim that they were still taking action on the second scene where they had other disturbance, but they did not send manpower when requested.
Now, people had a period of only one minute to react to those federal officials. But we have risk of people’s lives.
This is a very dangerous situation, and they decided not to deploy resources to assist federal authorities – and they were caught.
Now they are trying to say, “We work together. We don’t cooperate, but we support each other.”
That too was a strange phrase from his behalf, so I did not find this a little compelling.
However, in some cases he said that you cannot stop law enforcement officers, whether they are federal or state – it is general knowledge.
There was no big disclosure from his side.
Martha: If you are hitting the car of a federal agent, then you should expect it to result in consequences.
I think a lot of it comes from a job in Chicago and the way they get it.
Here Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is talking about this in Chicago at 10:00 am. Look at this.
Brandon Johnson (Clip): A few years ago, I very clearly said that the right -wing in this country wants recurrence of the Civil War.
I want him to sit, because the President of the United States has announced a war against the people of Chicago and the people of all over America.
Martha: It is a very strong thing.
Laura: What does he expect after that?
He is not a foolish person.
And you use words like “Hitler” or “Stalin” or “Nazi” or “declaration of war on your own people, which is ridiculous.
He loves New York, loves Chicago, and thinks that he can return them into his former stellar form – and that is what he is trying to help him do it.
You may disagree on the decisions being taken; I think he is doing what he needs to do.
But it is different from saying that he is announcing war and it is a federal attack on the city – as he said in Portland and Chicago today.
So this Superintendent of Police is listening to it from Pritzkar, Governor and Brandon Johnson.
And no one is going to explain the average American that has no effect on the superintendent.
I did not believe it even for a moment.
Martha: What is the final effect of all this?
President Trump wants to make America’s cities safe. I think you are right when you say that he loves the great cities of America and wants them to restore their greatness.
Political, socially – What is the effect of the presence of National Guard in cities?
Laura: I think we will see a decrease in crime.
You saw it in DC, obviously – but it is a bit different because it is a federal district, as you know.
They have more discounts and long deployment in DC. But in the areas of cities where federal facilities have been seized for weeks and sometimes months, it will end.
And those persons will be prosecuted in the federal court, not in the state court.
You have more active judges in the State Court, but in federal proceedings, these persons – are playing beautiful with their small masks and early Halloween getups – will find themselves in real legal troubles.
I think it will have a big and positive effect.
And I think this should be the message of Trump administration on this: We like this city very much. We are going to restore these cities.
Unfortunately, on the other side of the corridor we do not have interested partners – which is tragic.
Because if they assisted even a little, or said, “Let’s do it together,” I think Trump is ready to sit with someone and say, “Give me your views. How can we improve it, or what will you do?”
I honestly think that he will bring and bring these people in and say, “What are your thoughts?” – And they could work together.
I think the Democrats will look really unfair here.
Martha: We see what is happening in Memphis, where they have response, “We have a lot of guns from the road and criminals from the road.”
This will make it safe for people to roam in the city of Memphis – which they hope.
And a little coordination can help a lot in these conditions.
But the language of Brandon Johnson, which states that the President of the United States has declared war against the people of Chicago and the people of the whole of America, is really very dangerous.
Laura: Yes, Martha, this is really.
Because when you use that kind of rhetoric – “War,” “Fascism,” “Electrients Acquisition” – it creates fear and division, and it encourages those who already mistrust the law enforcement or federal authority.
It is careless, and it does nothing to help those who are really suffering from increasing crime and chaos in these communities.
What it does makes everything more unstable.
At the end of the day, President Trump is trying to restore the system.
he is saying, “We will not allow these cities to burn, we will not allow the federal property to be destroyed, and we will not allow citizens who follow the law to live in fear.”
This is the fundamental role of the government – protecting your people.
And when local officials do not do so, the federal government will have to intervene.
You can argue the strategy throughout the day, but it is absolutely absurd – accusing the President of “announcing his own war”.
And I think the more Americans see it, the more clear it will be who is really trying to solve the problems and who is playing politics.
People want safe roads, they want working cities, and they want leaders who are serious about fixing broken things.
It should not be biased, but unfortunately it has happened.
Martha: Yes, and I think the Americans who see it are saying exactly the same – “We just want security and stability in our neighborhood.”
Laura Ingraham, you always feel good to see.
Thank you very much for your approach tonight.
Laura: Thank you, Martha. always a pleasure.
