The Government of Chhattisgarh cleans the major welfare, recruitment measures

Raipur, September 30 (IANS) Government of Chhattisgarh has decided to invite proposals from banks and financial institutions to provide short -term loans against salaries to government employees.

This initiative wants to meet the emergency financial needs of the state servants. The Finance Department has been authorized to take further action and finalize the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with eligible institutions.

In a cabinet meeting held on Tuesday at Mahanadi Bhawan of the Ministry on Tuesday, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai presided over a series of influential decisions with the aim of strengthening financial assistance and inclusive regime in Chhattisgarh.

In a historic step for disability welfare, the cabinet approved a return of Rs 24.50 crore to the National Disabled Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC).

This amount represents outstanding loans for self-employment and disabled persons for education at a concessional interest rate of 3 percent.

This decision underlines the government’s commitment to empower different different citizens.

In addition, the cabinet gave a one -time exemption in the recruitment and promotion of the School Education Department to facilitate direct recruitment of 100 special teachers.

The State Finance Department has already approved to be hired, while the selection will bypass the general written examination.

The move is expected to expedite the inclusion of qualified teachers in the state’s educational structure, especially for children with special requirements.

The meeting also marked a formal infection in the top bureaucracy in the state. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, the 1989 batch IAS officer, was bid farewell to his retirement. The council warmly welcomed the 1994 batch IAS officer, Vikas Sheel, who has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary.
