For the purpose of protecting the educational future of thousands of students, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday ordered the acquisition of 215 schools directly or indirectly, with the accused organization Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI) and its affiliated Falah-e-AAM Trust (Fat).
According to a government order, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Government of India reported the notification of SO1069 (E) on 28 February 2019 and further notification SO 924 (E) was issued on 27 February 2024 under the dated, sub-block (1), which was announced by Section (37 (1967) in 1967 (1967). “Intelligence agencies have identified several schools, which were found to be associated with the Jamba-e-Islami (Jail)/Falah-e-AAM Trust (Fat), directly or indirectly prosecuted,” the order reads.
The validity of the managing committee of 215 such schools is over and has been informed adversely by intelligence agencies, the order Urhar studies.
“Now, now, in view of the above and in practice the powers provided by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir School Education Rules, in practice the powers provided by the government of Jammu and Kashmir, to protect the educational future of the students enrolled in these schools, read with the 2010 house for 2010, the 2010, the 2010 house will propose a magistrate/ deputy commissioner who will propose a talasting committee for the respective schools after being verified.
The concerned District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner will take appropriate steps to handle these schools, for consultation and coordination with the School Education Department to ensure that the educational career of the students enrolled in these schools is not affected in any way, the order, which is a copy of which is with GNS, further reads. “He will also take all necessary measures to ensure quality education according to NEP criteria in these schools.”
