first trailer for christopher nolan‘S odyssey Starring Matt Damon As Odysseus has been released online.
The film, which has an estimated budget of $250 million (£218.6 million), is a retelling of Homer’s epic poem, which follows protagonist Odysseus as he undertakes a decade-long journey after the Trojan War.
“After years of war, no one can stand between my people and home — not even me,” Damon declares in the trailer, which shows his army facing monsters, storms, and other obstacles to get back to their home in Ithaca.
The film, starring Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya and Robert Pattison, will be released in the US and UK on July 17.
