Which Dyson AirWrap will be discounted on Black Friday?
The best Dyson AirWrap Black Friday deals are already underway.
Dyson only sells its 2024 AirWrap ID and its new Co-end 2x multi-stylers, so these are the devices I’d like to see included in Black Friday deals. Older models, such as the AirWrap Complete, are no longer in production and are available at some retailers. That said, I saw a deal on the Original Styler at Boots (was £399.99, now £299.99, boots.com,
There are also deals on the ID Styler in all its colors (was £479.99, now £399.99, boots.com), but I don’t see the savings on Co-anda 2x yet. I’m keeping a close eye on third-party retailers for deeper discounts.
Is it better to buy Dyson AirWrap before or on Black Friday?
The main thing to consider when considering when to buy your Dyson AirWrap is the base price of each model. For example, the full price of the AirWrap ID is £479.99, while the new Co-Enda 2X has an RRP of £579.99 (Amazon.co.ukI often see the ID model reduced by £80 to £100, and in fact, these are the current reductions among the pre-Black Friday deals. Conversely, it’s rare to see a device discounted by more than £100, so I’d be quick to snap up a deal like this, regardless of the date.
For those interested in the Co-anda 2X, it hasn’t seen much of a price drop since its release earlier this year, so if you come across a good offer, don’t hesitate to grab it.
And if you’re unsure whether the pre-Black Friday deal will be any better on November 28, remember that Dyson offers a 35-day money-back guarantee. So, now you can always look for bargains, see if big discounts appear for Black Friday, and return your original (unused) purchases if you want.
What’s better, Dyson AirWrap ID or Co-End 2x?
Having used both the iD and Ko-Enda 2x models extensively, I’d say the Ko-Enda 2x is the better styling tool – but it all depends on what results you’re looking for. While the Co-Enda 2x has Dyson’s most powerful motor yet and enough airflow to rival a dedicated hair dryer, the ID model costs an average of £100 less.
For someone with relatively frizz-free hair, the new smoothing and straightening attachment on the 2x wasn’t very useful, but the time saved by blow-drying was impressive. I also liked the new anti-snag loop brush and the stronger bristles on the round brush, both of which reduced tangles and made it easier to create a bouncy finish.
Both devices feature the ID One-Touch Wrapping function, which can be tailored to your hair type via the MyDyson app. If you’re hoping to primarily use the AirWrap to curl your hair, I’d argue that the ID is just as effective as the Ko-Enda 2x, if a little slower at pulling hair around the barrel.
In short, if smoothening, frizz-reduction and speed are of utmost importance, look at the Co-End 2x. But if you’re just looking for voluminous curls without the heat damage of a plate styler, I’d point you towards the AirWrap ID
