The driver allegedly tried to report his vehicle in the form of theft after escaping from OPP

A Toronto man has been accused of allegedly trying to report his vehicle as theft after the alleged escape from the provincial police.

Ontario Provincial Police says the authorities initially saw the vehicle without any registration, when the 32 -year -old driver fled from the spot.

After investigating the incident, the driver was identified and arrested at another police station as he was trying to make a false report, the police say.

He is now facing allegations of dangerous driving, flight from police and public mischief.
