A person described as “violent, jealous and controlling” is convicted for murder, when he widely stabbed his wife in the daylight, tracking her into a woman asylum.
Habibur Masum launched a “cruel” knife attack on Kulsuma Aarthatar as he pushed his seven -month -old son into a pram. The court heard that he left him “bleeding in the gutter” before leaving his child before leaving his child.
A 26 -year -old court heard 27 -year -old Masum to take him to a Bradford’s shelter, where he was staying to escape her after placing a knife around her neck after an attack on her home in Greater Manchester.
After finding him through his phone location, Masum was seen on CCTV, which was “littering, watching and waiting” for a fatal attack on the roads around the hostel, listened by the gamblers.
She sent her messages threatening to kill her family members, if she did not return to her, before she was trying to woo her by sending her fake messages from a local GP practice, her son’s appointment and “rapidly serious consequences” warned if she did not participate.
The Bradford Crown Court finally felt sufficient to the Ms. actor to leave the shelter on 6 April, when Masum incorrectly updated her Facebook page claiming to be in Spain.
As she was running at the center of the city with a friend, pushing her child into a pram, Masum faced her, heard by the test.
Prosecutor Stephen Wood Casey told the gamblers that they were tried to remove Ms. and Pram on CCTV and were trying to remove the pram before pulling the knife from their jackets and before starting a “cruel attack”.
The CCTV footage of the attack played during the trial captured the scream of Ms. actor as Masum stabbed her at least 25 times, put her on the ground and kicked her as a “final insult before lifting the head” and deliberately cut her throat.
Mr. Wood said that the “smiling killer” then went peacefully through the Bradford City Center and was seen on CCTV Grinking as he met in a bus, “he was getting away believing that point”.
The gamblers heard that Masum traveled to the Illasbury, Buckinghamshire in the south about 200 miles, and in the early hours of April 9, a car was arrested in a car park near the Stoke Mandville Hospital, where he went to treat for “locks”.
During the trial, Masum refused to see the footage of the attack, but the gamblers heard that during their first police interview, he requested to see it, Mr. Wood said that he wanted to see what the authorities “did on what”.
When he gave evidence, Masum said that he did not remember to kill his wife and if he “did not listen to him”, he took a knife with his intention to stab her in front of him.
He broke into tears as he claimed that “lost control” when Ms. actor told her that there would be no shortage of people who are ready to convert him into her son’s father.
But Mr. Wood said that his tears “were fake in their claims of self -disadvantage” and “only one person Habibur Masum feels that he is sorry for himself”.
He said that opposing Masum is “the last thing that would do the same” because she knew what she was able to do.
Mr. Wood said that the relationship between Masum and Ms. actor was “an derogatory relationship, which is characterized by controlling their jealousy, rights and behavior”.
The gamblers heard that the couple met and married in Bangladesh, and in 2022 after receiving a student visa, he came to the UK and enrolled in a masters course to study marketing.
The defendant, who gave evidence through a Bengali interpreter, told the trial that she initially had a long distance relationship as she lived in Ilsbury while studying and lived in Oldham with her brother.
The gamblers heard that in August 2022, a tram station was found by the Masum police, where he stayed all night after a debate with Ms. actor.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he told a doctor that “when he fights with him, he feels that he is going to kill him”.
They moved to a house in Oldam together in September 2022.
The gamblers heard that in July 2023, Ms. actor left due to Masum’s controlled behavior to live with her brother, threatening to harm herself with a knife before returning.
On November 23, he was jealous of a “perfectly comfortable” message received from a male colleague and was accused of holding his face, slapping and pulling his hair. He was approved by that charge.
The court heard that he said to him: “I am going to kill you, and the police must be taking me.”
The next day he took a knife to his bedroom and grabbed him around the neck, telling the gamblers.
Ms. actor’s sister -in -law is called a police and Masum was arrested, in which Ms. actor decided to leave her and was taken to Bradford Refuge by Oldam Social Services in January 2024.
Masum denied the November incident and claimed that Ms. actor had prepared a domestic violence case against her as a way to live in Britain, while he wanted to return to Bangladesh.
The court heard that when Ms. actor was in asylum, Masum sent her a picture in front of the building with a message, stating: “I know you are living at this place. I knew you had gone here from the first day.
“If I had any desire to kill you, I could have been from day one. You don’t know what you have lost but one day you will understand. Nobody will like you as I do.”
The court arranged to resume her by the Ms. actor’s social worker and she was going to move forward on 8 April, but in the meantime she heard from Masum’s brother that she was in Spain, and the day she was killed, she felt “safe to leave the shelter”.
Masum convicted the murder but refused the murder. On Friday, he was found guilty of more serious allegations, as well as a charge of attack, a count of threatening to kill and a charge of chasing. He blamed for the publicly stabbing.
