Srinagar, June 17: Former cabinet minister and senior vice president of his party Ghulam Hasan Mir has expressed “serious concern” over the mysterious death of a 10 -year -old boy in Lalpora Kunjar, Tangmarg. He has “demanded a thorough and fast investigation into the matter to highlight the truth.”
In particular, a 10 -year -old boy from Lalpora Kunjar area of Tangmarg was found seriously injured in a garden after disappearing on June 12 (Thursday). He was taken to a nearby hospital and later sent to a hospital in Srinagar, where he succumbed after being on a ventilator for several days.
The victim’s family alleges that the bruise on his son’s body indicated that he seems to be brutally beaten by someone, which led to his death. Local residents have also demanded protest against the incident.
In his statement, Ghulam Hasan Mir urged the police to “ensure a quick and intensive investigation to highlight the truth.” He said “Those involved in this heinous crime should be caught immediately and brought to justice.”
Ghulam Hasan Mir expressed his deep sympathy to the sad family, especially the victim’s parents.
He called the child’s death “a painful event, saying that it is beyond imagination and an inconsistent loss.” He said, “If it is a case of murder, then the people involved should be given the most serious punishment.”
