On Thursday, a child died after being killed by a vehicle in the parking of the St. Catherine Aquatic Center.
According to Niagra Regional Police Service, the collision occurred at the Kivanis Aquatics Center near Carlton Street and Niagra Street.
Officials say the child was a pedestrian and his next family has been informed about the accident.
Meanwhile, police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
An investigation into the leading circumstances for the collision continues.
No allegations have been made.
