The Chhattisgarh government tomorrow prepares for ‘Seva Pakhwada’ before PM Modi’s birthday

Raipur, 16 September (IANS) For the states of other Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai-Netrin Chhattisgarh Government has prepared an action plan to follow a fortnight-long service initiative ‘Seva Pakhwada’ from 17 September to 2 October.

This period matches Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on 17 September and ends on 2 October on Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.

Various government departments and organizations are joining hands to organize several programs across the country.

Chief Minister Sai said, “The service fortnight starting from PM Modi’s birthday (17 September) will witness various types of activities and services for the people of Chhattisgarh. The state government and all departments of organizations have made their plan to serve the people.”

Along with the state ministers, BJP leaders led various departments in the Chhattisgarh government and the organizations on Wednesday prepared to swing in action after starting PM Modi ‘Seva Pakhwada’ campaign during their visit to neighboring Madhya Pradesh.

Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Sharma said that in addition to the state-wide sanitation drive, medical and blood-learning camps, the state government has planned to organize various activities and services in remote villages.

“During this fortnight’s ‘Siva Pakhwada’, we have planned to organize camps in villages and provide services to the people. For example, we have planned to provide driving licenses to every youth in some villages and solve conflicts between two gram panchayats,” said Deputy CM Sharma.

Sharing his feeling for PM Modi, Deputy CM Sharma said that whenever he meets the Prime Minister, he emerges with fresh energy.

He said, “PM Modi has always encouraged people to serve people. I have a lot of memories with PM Modi because for the first time I met him after becoming Deputy Chief Minister of Chhatsgarh.”

Another cabinet minister of the BJP -led Chhattisgarh government, Kedar Kashyap, said that PM Modi has many qualities that are always learned, but their “commitment, determination and time” are the qualities that have inspired me a lot.

In particular, PM Modi will arrive in Dhar, a tribal-prabhu district of Madhya Pradesh and will flag various services and also address the meeting.

He will also lay the foundation stone of ‘PM Mitra Park’, who will set up a road to become the country’s textile center for the state.
