The CEOs of West Bengal ordered the printing of applications in the state

Kolkata, September 16 (IANS) Manoj Kumar Aggarwal, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of West Bengal, has directed to start printing of Special Intensive Amendment (SIR) application forms (calculations) in the state, which gives rise to speculation that the state can be practiced in the state after the Derj Puja festival.

On Tuesday, the CEO started training for officers involved in SIR in the state. Around 4,000 officers of the state participated in this training. Those participating in training included Eros, Eros, ADM and some DMs.

The remaining 75,000 booth-level officers of the state will be trained on the head before Durga Puja. The CEO’s office stated that Eros and Eros would train Blaos. The training has been asked to complete by 21-22 September.

Sources in the CEO’s office said that the number of forms printed would be double the total number of voters in the state. According to the CEO’s office, there are currently about 7.65 crore voters in the state. Therefore, about 150 million forms will be printed.

Since it is not possible to print such a large number of forms from a specific place, therefore, the CEO’s office has sought information about which districts will be able to print the form.

It was also found that if such forms cannot be printed in any districts, then the same will be printed and sent from Kolkata.

The CEO’s office said that in the case of Bihar, the forms were printed from the same place, which took a long time. This time, forms will be printed in different districts, which will save time as the work will be done quickly.

The BJP is demanding the head of the electoral role of West Bengal, alleging that a large number of illegal voters, including Bangladeshi and Rohingyas, are present in the list of existing voters. On the other hand, the ruling Trinamool Congress has opposed the move. Party supremo Mamata Banerjee threatened to start a major movement, if the names of legal citizens are removed from the list of voters.
