Hyderabad, 22 September (IANS) Union Home Minister Bundi Sanjay Kumar on Monday, the leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Chief Minister. Chandrashekhar Rao and his family were targeted for alleged relations with the luxury car scam.
He said that the truth should be revealed and he would request the concerned departments to investigate.
“Car party is running on smuggling luxury cars?” The prisoner asked Sanjay in a post on ‘X’, apparently referring to BRS, whose election symbol is ‘car’.

Does it not make KCR’s family direct beneficiaries of conspiracy? The truth should be revealed. We will request the concerned departments.”
In May 2025, in relation to a customs duty theft racket related to import of high-end vehicles, Basrath Ahmed Khan, a luxury car dealer from Hyderabad, was arrested by the Revenue Intelligence (DRI).
Meanwhile, reacting to the post of captive Sanjay, BRS leader Krishak I asked that Telangana BJP leaders, KTR and Spare Chief Minister A. Why did Reveanth Reddy targeted Reddy. “If buying a car from a car dealer is a crime, the MOS house should arrest all Congress leaders and BJP leaders who bought cars from this dealer.
