Beatles fans, get ready! The iconic band’s 1970 film, let it beDocumenting the making of their legendary album of the same name, it will be broadcast again more than 50 years later.

Originally set against the backdrop of the band’s breakup in the summer of 1970, the film has been painstakingly restored and re-incorporated with insights from Peter Jackson’s Beatles documentary series The Return, which is set to premiere in 2021 Premiering on Disney+.

With the approval of film director Michael Lindsay Hogg, let it be Restored by Jackson’s Tea, expected to be released in May 2024.

While the film has had limited play since its release, it has now found a new home on Disney+, marking its official return to global audiences after decades.

“I now think of it all as an epic story, finally completed after five years,” Jackson said in a statement.

Featuring exclusive footage from the band’s recording sessions and their historic rooftop performance in 1969, the film offers a rare glimpse into the Beatles’ creative process and camaraderie.

The Beatles’ official Instagram account also teased the news.

“Finally…there will be answers,” the post suggested.
