The provincial police is investigating a deadly collision on the Westbound Highway 401 at Toronto on Sunday morning.
Officials say a dump truck lost its drive on highway 401 on Ellen Road and collided with a motorcycle before 8:00 am.
A 59 -year -old motorcycle driver was rushed to a hospital from Pneumarket, where he was later declared dead, according to the police. No other injuries were reported.
Highway 401 is closed on Avenue Road while the crew is investigated and clear debris. Traffic is being converted into collector lane.
Investigators encourage any witness to contact the police.
