From Armageddon to Day After Tomorrow, there have been plenty of Hollywood movies about how our world could end.

But if a global apocalypse comes, what would be your tactics to survive as long as possible?

Forget underground bunkers – a new super truck should be on your apocalypse survival pack.

Apocalypse Manufacturing, a Florida-based company that specializes in futuristic vehicles, has unveiled its latest vehicle: a massive 4×4 called the Super Truck.

The Super Truck’s “barbaric” design makes it “impenetrable to outside forces,” according to the company, though its £130,000 ($159,999) price tag is likely to deter many doomsday preppers.

The Super Truck’s “barbaric” design makes it “impenetrable to outside forces,” according to the company, though its £130,000 ($159,999) price tag is likely to deter many doomsday preppers.

The Super Truck has a modified Hellcat V8 engine that produces 850 horsepower.

“With the Super Truck, we wanted to combine medieval, barbaric design that is impossible to ignore with the ferocity of the Hemi Hellcat engine,” said Joseph Ghattas, owner of Apocalypse Manufacturing.

“There is no other 4×4 on the market that has the speed, size, reliability, comfort, space and off-road/on-road features of our latest creation.”

Sitting on 40-inch tires and 22-inch rims, the Super Truck is 2 meters long, 2 meters wide and 6 meters long.

While undeniably a beast in its own right, the front suspension also provides a whopping 15,000 pounds of raw towing capacity.

According to Apocalypse Manufacturing, the Super Truck is “impenetrable to external forces” thanks to a steel “grumper” (grill/bumper combination) at the front and a steel rear bumper with slate.

Meanwhile, the open wheel arches allow the Super Truck to be launched on a ramp up to 3 meters above the ground – perfect for risky end-of-the-world driving.

Drivers can choose from five off-road driving modes – Sport, Drag Race, Baja, Rock and Mud – giving them “full control over their adventure,” according to the developers.

The Super Truck has already garnered huge interest on social media, with many users eager to get their hands on the futuristic vehicle.

In response to an Instagram post, one user said, “Would love to have one,” while another wrote, “I’m in the process of getting money for it.”

Meanwhile, another user joked, “Imagine getting run over by that thing lmao.”
