Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah has welcomed the ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
He said, “I am grateful to the Almighty if there is really a ceasefire; it is good. Innocent people were being killed … No one has surrendered to anyone, neither Iran nor America. But out of humanity, he said it should be stopped,” he said.
Abdullah pointed to the impact of the ongoing struggle on the world economy and said, “This would have affected his economy and the rest of the world’s economy … It was a global pressure on the US to end it.”
According to recent development, Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katj has accused Iran of violating the ceasefire and said that he has ordered Israel’s defense forces (IDFs) to “forcefully respond to violation of ceasefire with intensive attacks against the goal of regime in Tehran’s heart,” it has been reported during the time of Israel.
After the launch of two ballistic missiles in Israel after Iran’s ceasefire came into effect, Katz’s statement came. Both missiles were intercepted. The conflict between Israel and Iran began on 13 June when East launched a massive air strikes at the Iranian military and nuclear sites, named “Operation Rising Lion”.
