Terence Crawford has announced his retirement from boxing At the age of 38, when he exited the game with an undefeated record The only fighter to become undisputed champion at three weights in the four-belt era,
The move comes three months after the American took the undisputed super-middleweight title canelo alvarez with A Masterclass at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas – a result which sealed Crawford’s historic three-division triumph.
The points victory improved Crawford’s record to 42–0 (31 knockouts) and followed his undisputed victories at welterweight and super-lightweight. “Bud” also held world titles at lightweight and super-welterweight.
Crawford shared a video on social media Tuesday recapping his amazing career, writing, “Walking away as a great and having nothing left to prove.”
Before his victory over Canelo, Crawford’s standout win was to demolish compatriot and fellow southpaw in 2023 Errol Spence Jr.A victory that gave Crawford undisputed status at welterweight.
