Telangana, New Jersey agrees to cooperate in life science, urban transit

Hyderabad, 19 September (IANS) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and New Jersey Governor Phil Murfee have agreed to cooperate in areas such as software, technology, life science, urban transit and films.

The Chief Minister on Friday held a detailed discussion with the New Jersey Governor on the occasion of the 12th annual conference of the Public Affairs Forum of India in New Delhi.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office here, the two leaders agreed to create a systemic cooperation and bilateral exchange in the fields of software and technology, life science, urban transit and films.

Governor Phil Murphy said, “CM Revent agreed to fully support Reddy’s growing vision,” there are a lot of similarities between New Jersey and Telangana states. Together, we can create a big difference for each other’s economies. ,

The two leaders agreed to increase investment in both states to bring trade delegation to each other states and to maximize the capacity of money and employment.

Governor Murphy also promised a lot of support to the urban and public transport sectors of Hyderabad through the Authority of NJ trains. “From Metro to MMTS, Hyderabad Public Transport has received a big support from the New Jersey Government. I thank Governor Murphy for this friendship,” said CM Revent Reddy.

Inviting the great educational institutions of New Jersey, including NJITs, Princeton, Rutgers and others in Telangana, Chief Minister Reddy promised all those supports if they set up offshore complexes in Hyderabad.

The two leaders also agreed to facilitate and promote the film industry tourism.

CM Revantha Reddy posted on X that he discussed matters related to education, green energy, Mussi Riverfront Development Project and other subjects.

“Shared Telangana Vision 2047 … The government’s plan and idea with them. Explained the achievements and priorities of the Telangana state in IT and Pharma regions,” he said.

Governor Murphy’s wife, with New Jersey representatives, attended the meeting.
