Jim Clansy, who performed during the introduction of its major league Toronto Blue JaisThe 1977 expansion season and 12 seasons with the club, who were spent as a prominent member of their early rotation, died at the age of 69.

Blue Jais confirmed the death of the clans on Monday in a social media post. A cause of death was not given.

In the 1976 MLB Extension Draft, the clans were selected as Blue Jas sixth overall and started their big league on 26 July 1977 against Texas Rangers at Toronto’s Exhibition Stadium. He scored five earned runs in two innings in a 14–0 defeat.

After the expansion of Toronto 4-9 in the year, Chinsan played his first full season in 1978, posted a respectable 10–12 record on a team, fining at 59–102 in the American League East.

Clansy with Star Pitcher Dave Steib provided a bedrock for the initial rotation of Blue Jais as the team became increasingly competitive. He was a starter of Toronto in 1981 and 1984.

He had a record of 16–14 in the 1982 all-star season with 3.71 earned average and 139 strikes, as Blue Zais first dropped out of the final in the AL East with a record of 78-84.

He proceeded 9–6 with 3.78 ERA in 1985 as JAS won the division for the first time before falling into seven matches in the Cancer City Royals in the AL Championship series.

A disappointing season in Toronto was signed by Houston Astro after a disappointing season, where he had 11–13 records and 4.49 ERAs as Blue like Blue like Blue Jas failed to return to the playoffs for the third straight season.

He played his last campaign coming out of Bulpen with the 1991 Atlanta Braves. He won his first post season in the third game of the world series as Atlanta defeated Minnesota Twins 5–4 in twelve innings.

Clansy finished the series with a 1–0 record with 4.15 ERA, but Twins won the series in seven matches.

During its career, the clancy had a record of 140–167 with 4.23 ERA and 1,422 strikes.
