She went on to talk about how, despite the hectic pace of Hollywood — including long filming days and constant news cycles — her family gives her a sense of stability and calm.
“I try to incorporate them into my life as much as possible, whether it’s talking to my cousins every other day or going home,” the Emmy nominee revealed.
She went on to say that she wanted to spend as much time as possible with her family in Spokane, Washington.
“It’s hard because Los Angeles is so different than Spokane,” Sweeney continued. “The costs and challenges are very different in big cities versus small cities.”
Sweeney’s parents, Lisa and Steven, still live separately outside of California. Lisa remained in Spokane while Steven moved to a remote ranch in Mexico.
