‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’: Nadda Hails Record Outreach, Calls IT ‘Historic Milestone’

New Delhi: Union Health Minister JP Nadda said on Saturday that the two -week -long ‘health woman, Sashkat Parivar’s initiative reached “historic milestones”, which shows the country’s united commitment to prioritize the health of women at the core of strong families.

On his birthday on 17 September, the health camps launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded on Thursday and benefited children and families with more than 6.5 crore women through comprehensive health services.

NADDA said during the health initiative, 6.5 crore women were tested through about 18 lakh health camps across the country.

It marked the biggest health outreach for women and children in India.

In a post on X, Nadda said on Saturday, “Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17 September, a two -week -long ‘health female Savat Parivar Abhiyan’ concluded on 2 October, which was organized through about 18 million health camps after receiving the historic milestone of screening of 6 million women women.”

He said, “This extraordinary achievement shows the collective resolution of the country to keep women’s health in the hearts of strong families and prosperous communities. Let us continue this pace by encouraging every woman to prioritize her good, adopt regular health check -up, and move towards a healthy, strong future,” he said.

Apart from this, the camps also conducted more than 62.60 lakh entanteal check-ups, while more than 1.43 crore children got life-saving vaccines.

In addition to the broad network of NHM Health Camps, AIIMS, National Interests of National Intestions (INIS), Irient Care Hospitals, Ayushman Arogya temples, medical colleges and private institutions have also been at the forefront of this national drive.

Facilities hosted thousands of special camps, providing advanced screening, diagnostics, counseling and treatment services to the beneficiaries, complementing the efforts of state governments and community level health workers.
