Suspect arrested in high park sexual attack

Toronto police say they arrested a suspect for allegedly sexually assaulting a 62 -year -old woman at High Park in early June.

Officers were called to the park in Howard Park Avenue and Parkside drive area around 10:40 pm on 4 June.

Police say the woman was walking on a pucca route when she was approached by an unknown person from behind, who was allegedly dragged her into a wild area of ​​the park where she was sexually harassed.

The woman was capable of going away and was seeking help from a passerby in the area, who called the police.

The man then ran away from the area. The victim suffered non-janiley physical injuries in the attack.

After a long investigation, 35 -year -old Cortney Henry was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the incident.

He is facing several allegations due to sexual harassment because failed to follow physical loss, forced imprisonment, robbery and probation.

His picture has been released as the police believe that there may be more alleged victims.

The suspect has a criminal record and was on probation at the time of the incident.
