Suryakiran team to do air show before final salute on MIG-21 in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, September 17 (IANS) The royal city of Chandigarh is ready to see a breathtaking spectacle in the sky, which will survive as the prestigious Suryakiran aerobatic team, which will showcase an extraordinary air show that promises to leave the audience.

Suryakiran Aerobatic Team, known as the ‘Ambassador of the Indian Air Force’, is famous for its precise, skills and teamwork. This aristocratic team, striking red and white Hawk to blow MK -132 jets, will demonstrate a series of jaw leaving maneuvers. From gravity loop and thrilling barrel rolls to gravity-defined flying and crowd-favurite DNA maneuver, every performance is uniform for the unmatched expertise and coordination of the pilots.

The Suryakiran aerobatic team is starting its practice session on 22 September, and the conclusion will be presented on 26 September when MiG -21 will be officially terminated.

The iconic MIG-21 fighter jet is set to retire with the end of the six-day legacy of the aircraft during a ceremony in Chandigarh on 26 September, which included its first MIG-21 as high-high interceptors in 1963 and subsequently adapted to the zamini-Atac roles.
