A survey of more than 9,000 teachers by London Food Recovering Charity, Felix projectExtensive concerns found that parents or carefuls could not take the risk of feeding their children on brakes.

Half of the respondents feared up to three children in their classes, the highest number of primary schools will be seen.

The Felix Project has reported an increase in demand for food supply during school holidays.

Charlotte Hill, the chief executive of the Felix Project, faced challenges.

He said, “So many holidays are a real conflict. The closed and free schools of schools are unavailable, it is parents and caring for those who should cover the cost of that food,” she said.

Hill said: “But for many people, on the budget of already tight food, the additional burden is just unbearable. This means that the children will remain hungry. It is a sad reality, and the Felix project is doing what people can support in need.”

He concluded: “More surplus food is often available during the summer months, but more logistics and more cost with more food and that is why we are starting an immediate summer appeal.”
