A surfer was bitten by a shark on Tuesday, the fourth attack in three days off the coast of Australia’s most populous state.

All three of Sydney’s beaches have some form of shark netting. It is unclear where the attacks related to this network occurred.
Pierce said the site of the latest attack was isolated and had no shark netting.
Dee Why beach is close to the beach where a 57-year-old surfer was killed by a suspected white shark last September.
In November, a 25-year-old Swiss tourist was killed while swimming in a national park north of Sydney and her partner was seriously injured while trying to save her.
