The Supreme Court on Monday (October 13) ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the Karur stampede that left 41 people dead. The court has appointed former apex court judge Ajay Rastogi as head of the committee that will monitor the CBI investigation in the Karur stampede case.
