Support parties who give ticket to Kshatriya: Former-BJP MP RK Singh’s comment sparks the latest line

Patna, September 24 (IANS) Former Union Minister and BJP MP RK Singh stopped the ‘fragmented’ representation of the Kshatriya community across the political spectrum and urged the members of the community to support and vote only for the parties that give them tickets in the Bihar assembly elections. He also called his own party-BJP on the ‘under-representation’ of the Kshatriyas.

He said that the Kshatriya community has suffered heavy losses as it never voted for any political party, in which Yadav, SC/STS, Kushwaha and others including other castes. He said that the situation in the BJP was no different and he was “no shame in speaking” against his party.

RK Singh’s comment has been set to create a fresh pulsation in political circles, especially in BJP, as it is seen as a sign of his growing dissatisfaction when the party’s Bihar unit is ‘sidelined’.

A day earlier, RK Singh’s outbreak made a vibrations in political circles against party leaders, including Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Emperor Chaudhary and party state chief Dilip Jaiswal.

Talking to the scribes, on the questions of corruption allegations by the founder of Bihar BJP against the top leadership of Bihar BJP, he demanded that Samrat Chaudhary and Dilip Jaiswal should come ‘clean’ or ‘step down’ on allegations from their respective positions.

RK Singh’s call to the Kshatriya community was during his address at the office of Kshatriya Kalyan Sangha Bihar, which he inaugurated on Tuesday.

During the event, the former Union Minister criticized corrupt ministers and leaders in Bihar and urged the community to return only to the party that gives most tickets to Kshatriya leaders in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, even if it is part of the party Grand Alliance (Mahagathanan).

He said, “Ram Vilas Paswan united the Paswan community. Lalu Prasad Yadav united the Yadav community. Kushwaas also do not personally vote, but vote as a block,” he said.

He said, “We have no value in any party. Therefore, we should unite. Everyone should know that if the votes of the Kshatriya are cut, everyone will vote for a party,” he said.

RK Singh, who lost his ARA constituency in the 2024 elections, sarcastically stated that the BJP is not a single Rajput on the stage and said that he had no obstruction in speaking against the Kshatriyas against the party’s ‘discriminatory’ view.

He also warned the parties against any attempt to trample the Kshatriya community.

“We will show you what is power. We will teach you a lesson in this very Bihar assembly election,” he said.
