Subway service suspended on Line 1 part due to injury at track level

The subway service has been suspended on a part of Line 1, which transit officials say there is an injury at the track level.

The service between Finch and Shepard-Yanga stations was suspended before 4 pm due to an incident at the North York Center station located in 5102 Yonge Street.

The Toronto police said that the station is currently closed for “track level check”, but there is no threat to public safety, besides no more details.

TTC says that shuttle buses have been deployed for passengers around the delay.
