Students of Concorda University launch rockets from North Cubek

Montreal – A group of students at the University of Concorda at Montreal have managed to launch a rocket from a remote site in North Quebec.

A 13-meter liquid-fuel rocket, the Starseller flew only after 5:30 am today.

It is unclear that the rocket had reached space, as it had separated before the liftoff after the plan of less than a minute.

Since starting in 2018, more than 700 Concorda students have contributed to the starseller program.

The launch occurred about 250 km north of the creation community of Mysticini, and the students worked together with the leaders.

If the rocket reaches space, it would mark the first location launch of Canadian soil over 25 years.
