Aparajita Upadhyay, a class 11 student of Pilibhit district in Uttar Pradesh, got an opportunity to become DM for a day. This unique opportunity is provided under the ‘Naika Scheme’ of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Under the scheme, girls from all districts of the state are given an opportunity to serve in the posts of Divisional Commissioner, DM, Chief Development Officer and SSP for one day.
