strictly come dance Stars Stefan Dennis and Dianne Buswell After Dennis was forced to resign, he has shared an update on his participation in the BBC competition Missed this weekend’s show due to illness,

“And what dance are we doing?” asked Buswell.

“We’ll just be doing the Charleston!” Dennis replied. “Finally I can use my basketball hand!”

Buswell said: “Thank you for your support and love, and we’re very excited to be back in the training room.”

Just 24 hours before Saturday’s live shows it was announced that Dennis was too ill to take part, which – per strictly Rule – This means that he will automatically move to the next week’s show.

However, this gave rise to online conspiracy theories which Buswell was later forced to deny.Claims circulated over the weekend that it was actually Buswell who was too ill to take part in the show. Buswell is the first strictly Professional to perform in series while pregnant.

On her Instagram, Buswell wrote: “Just to clarify, a lot of people have been messaging me thinking this is to cover up my not being able to dance?! First of all, we wouldn’t lie, especially about someone being sick. And second of all, I’m fine. Yes, I’m pregnant, but I’m also very capable and feeling great!”

She continued: “Thirdly, there are certain things that happen if a professional becomes ill or injured.”

Dennis, 66, is best known for playing villainous businessman Paul Robinson in the Australian soap opera NeighbourIs partnered with buswellWho won the competition last year with comedian Chris McCausland.
