Why don’t Tess and Claudia wear Halloween costumes?
strictly Presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly did not wear Halloween costumes on the programme, because Winkleman’s daughter Matilda, aged eight, was caught in a fire while wearing a costume while trick-or-treating in west London.
Winkleman previously told the BBC’s Watchdog in 2017: “I don’t like Halloween since three years ago it was discovered that our screams were real.
“She ‘went up’ is the only way I can describe it – it was a spark, and she screamed for me. It was like those horrible birthday candles that you blow out and they come back on. It was really loud, it wasn’t fire like I had seen.”

Zoe Ball admits she wants to present Strictly
zoe ball accepted on that Digg it Podcast Episodes She’ll Love with Joe Waite strictly Presentation.
The BBC Radio 2 broadcaster praised the dance competition for “bringing so much joy into people’s lives”, saying, “I think everyone would want to do that thing.”
He added, “Everyone will want that job. There will be lines around the block.”

Huge BBC star in the running for Strictly host job
A big BBC star has publicly expressed interest in replacing Strictly Come Dancing hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Zoe Ball said this during her Dig It podcast episode with Joe Whitey, released on Wednesday (October 29). When asked if she would want to do the job, the BBC Radio 2 broadcaster replied, “I think everyone would want to do that job,” praising the dance competition for “bringing so much joy into people’s lives.” He added, “Everyone will want that job. There will be lines around the block.” Ball was a contestant in the third series and went on to host It Takes Two. He also hosted the main show when Winkleman was on leave.
