Strictly Come Dancing latest: Vicky Pattison tops leaderboard for first time

strictly come dance 2025 has reached the halfway point and the number of judges in tonight’s episode has reached 10.

Find out who leaves the competition in the results show tomorrow at 7.10 pm. The episode will see Motsi have to make the final decision if the judges split after the dance-off.

Alex has been phenomenal in the series – but the actor suffered a rare wobble this week as she struggled with her confidence.

In the claditorium, he opens up about his struggle and reveals his condition that has made this week’s pass especially difficult.

Here’s what he said…

The judges have delivered their verdict on Harry…

Shirley: “You definitely have the [problems] Consider. Overall, not the best for me but not the worst either.”

Anton: “I liked your energy, I liked your performance, I thought you brought everything to your dancing. Awesome.”

Craig: “I was very happy with Pec’s dance in the beginning. But there were too many ups and downs. I love your energy and you brought the whole carnival so thank you.”

Motsi: “What I love is listening to the music and watching you dance. There was so much rhythm from the band that I could see it in your body, it was constant. You offer so much. But I want you to describe it.”

Harry’s numbers are… 7, 8, 7 and 8 – a total of 30.

Finally, it’s lovely Harry and Karen… and it’s samba time! They were bottom of the table last week with a score of 26, but avoided defeat thanks to audience votes.

It’s a hard task to follow the wiki but it’s a great samba. Harry looks absolutely at home and looks like he’s having a great time, which really helps sell the routine. Well done!

Here are the judges’ comments on Vicky’s tango…

Anton: “What did I think? I thought it was absolutely wonderful. I loved it. It must have been fantastic to dance with you in it. Your line is the best line I’ve ever seen. Your head and spine are a beautiful line. It was immaculate. I’m a little stunned, it was so good.”

Craig: “Your left hand bothered me. It was facing inward, palm should be facing the floor. Other than that, it was perfect.”

Motsi: “Last week I said you were a contender for the finals and this dance proved what I said. You are on fire. For me, this was, by far, the dance of the night.”

Shirley: “What you did is you believed in it. Everything you did was on the right side of it, the story was there, the footwork was remarkable. I’m with Motsi, that’s the dance of the night.”

Vicki’s scores are… 9, 10 (hooray!), 10 and 10 – a total of 39!

The band has had to learn a whole new (by strictly Standard) Song for this one: Vicky and Kai are tango-ing (is that a word?) to Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia.”

Vicky said in her VT that she would classify herself as a Swiftie and it seems like the song choice has helped her bring the drama.

Not to channel my inner Craig, but I think Vicky could hit the shapes a little harder?

Here are the judges’ comments for Amber…

Shirley: “We’re halfway through the competition and I want to say to everyone, I’ve never seen a competition like this. It was absolutely fantastic. Clean, great chemistry, I really enjoyed it.”

Anton: “Oh man alive!” [he’s now blabbering a lot and it’s almost unintelligible but positive]

Craig”Ahh. Me. Zing.”

Motsi: “There’s nothing to say after that. It was absolutely brilliant. I would never do anything like that again. Well done. Well done!”

His numbers are…9, 10, 9 and 10 – total 38.

Amber and Nikita bring a salsa to “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)” by Sylvester. amber is another strictly The star who is working continuously but has not yet been able to fulfill her full potential.

However, it is a fantastic salsa! Amber is bringing the energy and the lifts are incredible. I don’t know what he had to do to get to nine and ten in a row… maybe that was the point? We will see!
