Confirming the cultural and spiritual significance of Mela Kheer Bhavani, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh said on Tuesday that the centuries -old festival is an incarnation of the legacy of India’s civilization and will continue to be celebrated for generations to come despite the efforts of terrorists to fear.
According to the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), speaking at the revered Mata Kheer Bhavani Temple in Chugh, a major Shakti Peeth, Chugh, said, “The fair has been held for centuries and will be held for age.”
Condemning the Pahgam terror attack on 22 April, Chugh said that terrorists who attacked innocent civilians have been “answered” by the armed forces of India. He said, “Our armed forces have cut the dust of ‘Saudgar of Terror’ and ‘Mut of Mout’. 140 crore Indians are proud of our brave forces,” he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had empowered the army to act decisively, due to which the terraor camps and air base were destroyed with deep poverty.
Offering condolences and prayers to the victims of Pahalgam terror attack, Chugh said that the BJP was demanding strength from Mata Kheer Bhavani to eliminate terrorism and its handlers through “Operation Sindoor”. He said, “Those who spread terror have been punished, and they will also face harsh consequences,” they warned.
Chugh also highlighted the efforts of all party delegations in India to present the country’s attitude on terrorism globally and expose Pakistan as the center of terrorism. “It is unfortunate that when the world is being shown the real face of Pakistan, some leaders at home are echoing in the language of Pakistan. They questioned the surgical strike, mourning the terrorist deaths, and now challenging the patriotism of all our-Pakistan delegations,” he said, “This is a” sick mentality.
“Whenever India’s sovereignty and integrity is subject to question, we should all be united. But some people are busy trying to become a blue-eyed boy of Pakistan, speaking like attractive stars of ISI,” Chugh said in an attack on political opponents (KNO)
