Srinagar Police Book two notorious drug smugglers under NDPS Act

Srinagar, 11 August: While continuing the tireless cracks against drug trafficking and destroying the network of illegal narcotics, Srinagar Police has booked two notorious drug smugglers under the prevention of illegal traffic in the drugs of the drug and the Psychotropic Material Act (Pit-NDPS Act).

These drug smugglers are included; Danish Mushtaq Hafiz S/O Mushtaq Ahmad Hafiz R/O Natipora A/P Shaheen Colony, Alokibagh, FIR No. 88/2022 U/S8/21 NDPS Act of PS Sader.

On the basis of the dosier prepared by the Srinagar police against him, he has been booked under the Pit-NDPS Act after receiving a formal detention order.

As a result, these drug smugglers were detained and later registered in the district jail in Udampur.

He has been involved in a dangerous scale of narcotics pedaling among the youth of Srinagar. In addition, he was also involved in several NDPS Act cases of various police stations in Srinagar.

Despite the cases of several NDPS Act registered against him, he did not work in his own way after exiting the courts and was promoting drugs through a network of illegal drugs, especially in Srinagar, especially in Srinagar.

Srinagar Police has also accelerated the process of attaching its properties under the provisions of the Pit-NDPS Act.

Certainly, the police is systematically targeting and destroying the infrastructure of illegal narcotics in Srinagar city and till date several drug smugglers have been detained under the Pitt NDPS Act in Srinagar.
