Srinagar police attach assets worth Rs 1.5 crore under UAPA

Srinagar, 05 July: In a decisive step against the terrorist ecosystem and to destroy its assistant infrastructure, Srinagar Police has attached a residential property -a price of about ₹ 1.5 crore has been estimated with a building structure along with 8 Marlus and 202 square feet of land.

Property falling under Mir Masjid Mohalla, Shalbagh, Khanyar, and Survey Nos 3674/1147 and 3677/1148 has been recorded in the name of Mohammad Yusuf Shah S/O Hafiz Waliullah Shah. It is currently in possession of Masood Hussain Shah S/O Mohammad Yusuf Shah.

Attachment has been made in relation to FIR No. 48/2024 under Section 109 of the Indian Arms Act in relation to FIR No. 48/2024 under the relevant provisions of the illegal activities (prevention) Act (UAPA) Act (UAPA), which is 7/27, and 18, 19, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, And 39, and 39,

The investigation has established that the property was acquired through illegal income related to terrorist activities. While working under Section 25 of the UAP Act, real estate is formally seized and attached after the appropriate legal process.

Through this attachment notice, the owner is banned from selling, leasing or transferring the said property in any way.

This action is part of the Srinagar Police’s continuous campaign to destroy the terrorist ecosystem in a systematic manner.

By targeted and crippling the financial network of terrorist organizations, the purpose of the Jammu and Kashmir Police is to curb harmful acts for the security and integrity of the nation.

Srinagar Police reiterated its unwavering commitment to end terrorism and protect public peace.
