Srinagar, 05 May: Srinagar Police immediately worked on getting information about sexual harassment on a woman (nominated by name) by a group of persons near Water Works Road, Nishat.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was transferred to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
After this incident, the police station was registered at Nishat under the relevant sections of FIR number 35/2025 law, and the investigation was immediately initiated.
During the investigation, the following four accused persons were identified and arrested:
Suhail Bashir Bhat, S/O Bashir Ahmed, R/O Ashham Sumbal
Adil ali bhat, s/o ali mohammad, r/o zeethyar nishat
Firdous Ahmad Rather, s/O ghulam ahmad, r/o zeethyar nishat
Suhail Afzal Bhat, S/O Mohammad Afzal, R/O Pahloo Brein
In a fast and decisive operation, all the accused have been caught. Further investigation in the case is going on.
