Revenue officials of Srinagar administration today, the outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat honored an emotional adeiu and organized a hot farewell ceremony for an emotional adeiu.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mir Imtiaz ul Aziz and Edil Farid; Chief Planning Officer, Phase Ahmed Dar; Assistant Commissioner Development, Syed Farooq; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Omar Gulzar; SDM East, Zubair Ahmed; SDM West, Irfan Bahadur and all Tehsildars of the district were present in the work.
On this occasion, all the officials unanimously highlighted the professionalism of the outgoing Deputy Commissioner in managing challenging circumstances, their cooperative approaches and their dedication to improve the administration process for good public. The officials also accepted the continuous encouragement of the dedication, humility and quality leadership of Team Srinagar by the outgoing DC throughout their tenure.
The authorities credited Outgoing DC for their incredible role in novel technical intervention to implement a streamlined, transparent and time bound public service distribution and grievance redressal mechanisms.
In the field of revenue record maintenance and updation, DC was appreciated for their uncontrolled resolution for standardized and hygiene to DC. As a result, the revenue maps of 40 estates, some of which had been out of/use completely for decades, were paving for the era of real and transparent land transactions in the district, scanned and digitized, provided guarantee of precious savings of common people.
He also underlined other initiatives of the outgoing Deputy Commissioner including Online Grievance Redressal Portal, E-Arzi, WhatsApp Chatbot etc.
Expressing his gratitude to the authorities, the outgoing DC specifically thanked the authorities in efforts related to the well -organized and digitization of revenue records. He also accepted the dedication of the officials in ensuring the smooth conduct of the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the district.
The function concluded with the presentation of the token of appreciation for outgoing DC, marking a respectable and emotional farewell for him.
