A video of SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) supporters booing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans has gone viral on social media. The incident took place during Friday’s match between the two teams at the Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad. In the video, SRH fans were seen holding a banner which showed a man booing CSK Lions. As his team was on the verge of a comprehensive victory over the defending champions, the SRH fan decided to taunt the CSK fans.

SRH registered their second win of the tournament, defeating CSK, to climb to fifth place in the IPL standings.
Despite losing the match, CSK remain third in the points table with two wins and two losses so far in IPL 2024.
Looking back at the match, Aiden Markram hit 4 fours and a six in his 50-run knock to help SRH reach 165-5 with 11 balls remaining The under-par total beat CSK.
“When we pitched, the first 10 overs or so, it (the ball) was going good, but it got tougher,” Markram said.
“So we got the win in the first 10 rounds and were in a good position afterwards.”
CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad said his batsmen have failed to capitalize on goals in the last five overs and have managed to score a bigger total.
“It was a slow pitch. They pitched it well on the back end,” he said.
“We were in good shape in the midfield, but they played well from behind.”
SRH started the innings with Abhishek Sharma scoring 27 runs, including three sixes and two fours off Mukesh Choudhary in the second over.
But his heroics were interrupted by Deepak Chahar, who had Sharma caught for 37 by Ravindra Jadeja.
Markram then stabilized the innings with a brilliant knock of 36 before being trapped by England’s Moeen Ali.
Ali then struck again in the next over, dismissing Shahbaz Ahmed (18), leaving the home crowd in silence.
However, Heinrich Klassen and Nitish Kumar Reddy ensured that the team suffered no more setbacks and took the team past the target.
