Spider-Man 4 still happening says producer Amy Pascal

Spider-Man 4 is still on.

That has producer Amy Pascal confirmed Variety on Tuesday night at the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse premiere that while the highly anticipated sequel has been delayed due to the writers’ strike, it’s still in the works.

‘Are we going to make another movie? Of course we are,’ said Amy. “We are busy, but the writers are on strike, no one is working during the strike.”

She added: “We are all supporters and when they get together we get to work.”

Sony boss Tom Rothman wasn’t so forthright when asked the same question about SM4, only laughing, “If I told you, I’d have to kill you.”

Spider-Man 4 has no confirmed release date.

Meanwhile, the third Spider-Verse movie called Beyond The Spider-Verse will be released next year.

Pascal also talked about a Spider-Woman movie.
