The central government has many schemes for the poor classes, one of which is Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi’s scheme for farmers, under which the government provides Rs 6,000 to farmers every year. The money is deposited into farmers’ accounts in three installments. So far, 15 installments of Kisan Samman Nidhi have reached farmers’ accounts. Issue 16 is expected to be released soon. However, some farmers complained that they had not received their installments for a long time. Now, the central government aims to provide relief to farmers whose installments are due.

The Ministry of Agriculture will launch a campaign from today, February 12, to provide relief to these farmers. This event will last until February 21st. State and territory governments will work together to carry out the campaign with the help of more than 400,000 public service centers across the country.

According to government officials, eligible farmers have not received their PM Samman Nidhi installments, possibly for two reasons: either they have not received e-KYC or their Aadhaar has not been linked to their bank accounts. The goal of this work is to address these two issues independently.

Accordingly, the district government will set up public service center camps in neighborhoods or villages as needed. The staff sitting here will identify the reasons for the delay in installment payments and take immediate action to resolve the issue. Farmers facing problems should go to the camps in their blocks or villages by February 21 with all accompanying documents to resolve the issue.
