Spark panic of more than Rs 4 lakh in MP’s Morena, video goes viral

Morena (Madhya Pradesh), September 21 (IANS) On Sunday, a violent gun bar exploded between two rival groups in Mata Vasaiya police station area of ​​Morena district, allegedly involved a loan of Rs 4 lakh in a long financial dispute.

The incident, which lasted for about an hour, has triggered widespread anxiety and is now moving fast on social media through a viral video, which shows the two sides indiscriminately engaged in indiscriminate firing.

According to police sources, the clash took place in Naik village, where one group gave a loan of Rs 4 lakh to the other. Repeated demand for repayment had increased in several weeks. Around 7 o’clock, the two groups armed and started firing on each other in a broad daylight, causing panic between local residents.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, in which bullets fly and the villagers are running for cover. Shops in the area were forced to close, and many residents locked themselves inside the house, which feared further violence.

The alleged viral video, which clearly shows members of the firing of both groups from the close range, has raised serious concerns about the availability of illegal firearms and the deteriorating law and order situation.

Fortunately, there were no casualties despite the intensity of the bullets. Local law enforcement officials confirmed that the case was under investigation.

A senior official of Mata Vasaiya Police Station said, “We are analyzing video footage and gathering statements from witnesses. Strict action will be taken against those found guilty of public peace.”

The incident is included in the increasing list of violent conflicts in Morena district.
