South African activists claim rigorous treatment by Israel in the case of genocide at Gaza Flotila

Six South African Activists who were detained Israel Trying to reach Gaza As part of a assistance, Flotila said on Wednesday that he was subject to strict treatment compared to other detainees due to the role of South Africa in a genocide case against Israel.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry has denied any claim of misconduct, and said that all workers were voluntarily given an opportunity to be deported without custody.

Six South African were among some 450 activists, who were arrested as Israeli forces, stopped Global Sumud Flotila, a fleet of 42 boats, seeking to break the naval blockade of Gaza of Israel and provided a symbolic amount in the famine-based area. He was detained last week and brought to Israel.

Swedish environmental activist Gita Thunberg was one of the arrested activists. Activists from Thunberg and other countries have also claimed that he was abused by a Israeli guard, claimed that Israel has rejected as “Brezen lies”.

The Israeli army stopped another flotila in the early hours of Wednesday and detained more workers on the board.

Mandla Mandela has been criticized on its perceived support for Palestinian terrorist group Hamas and was denied a visa to visit the UK last year.

South Africa has long been a supporter of Palestinian cause when Nelson was the President of Mandela. The country has compared the treatment of Israeli’s Palestinians with the treatment of black South African people during the previous period of racial isolation of the South African apartheid government. Israel has rejected that comparison.

South Africa registered a case at Gaza at the end of 2023, accusing Israel of massacre. Several countries including Nicaragua, Palestine, Turkey, Spain, Mexico, Libya and Colombia have supported the South Africa case.

Israel is a massacre against the Palestinians in Gaza, dismissing the charge and has filed a case against South Africa and accused Hamas of being a “legal hand”.
