Sonarika Bhadoria is going to marry fiance Vikas Parashar on February 18.

Sonarika Bhadoria, famous for the role of Goddess Parvati in Devon Ke Dev-Mahadev, is going to tie the knot with her fiance Vikas Parashar. Vikas, who is a businessman by profession, and Sonarika got engaged in 2022. They have decided to hold their wedding ceremony on 18th February. Reportedly, the grand event will take place in Sawai Madhopur Ranthambore.

While talking to ETimes, Sonarika told that she and Vikas were dating for about eight years. She said, “When he proposed to me in Maldives in May 2022, it was just the two of us. Our families were extremely happy for us, but they also wanted to be a part of the celebration. Vikas likes everything grand, whereas I like simple things. Since we both love the beach, we had the Roka ceremony in Goa. Initially sold on a beach wedding, however, our many beach visits led us to choose Sawai Madhopur, with Vikas’s immediate and huge extended family in mind.

Sonarika shared that the wedding festivities will start about 15 days before the big day with Mata Chowki in Mumbai and they will have a total of five ceremonies. He shared, “We will organize Myra’s ceremony on February 16, followed by mehendi in the evening. The next day the Haldi ceremony will be held and in the evening we will host a cocktail party-cum-sangeet.

Furthermore, he said that the reception will be held in Faridabad, which is Vikas’s hometown. “Almost half the city knows Vikas and his family, and since it is not possible to have so many people at the wedding, we have planned a reception in Faridabad,” Sonarika said.

Earlier, the actress had shared the news of her engagement through social media. She shared pictures of her fiance Vikas Parashar proposing to her on a beautiful beach. The actor announced this with a long note for Vikas on his birthday. The pictures show both of them wearing white on the beach, and Vikas gets down on one knee to propose to Sonarika in the beautiful setting.

Sonarika Bhadoria debuted in 2011 with the television show Tum Dena Saath Mera. She rose to prominence as Goddess Parvati in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, in which Mohit Raina played the role of Lord Shiva. In 2015, the actor debuted in Telugu cinema with Jadugaadu. She returned to Hindi television in 2018, most recently appearing in Ishq Mein Marjawan.
