Located on the banks of the Kamala River, Jayanagar is a culturally lively city that provides a rare view to its inhabitants when the air is clean and the sky is free from fog and pollution.
Due to the unique condition of the city, the Himalayas are seen changing their color every moment, from the copper to silver at sunrise and from silver to gold at sunset at sunset.

The visibility of the Himalayas from Bihar is not new at all. In 2020, residents of a village saw a wonderful view of Mount Everest from their home.
Meteorologists attribute this rare visibility to the mist-free environment, which often results in cleaning particles and dust from the air due to heavy rains. It gives an uninterrupted scene of remote peaks, even hundreds of kilometers away. Clear sky and low levels of pollution created appropriate circumstances to see the Himalayan mountain range with its full glory.
