anderson silva And chris weidman ready to settle their feud once and for all on the undercard of jake paulExhibition bout with Gervonta Davis.
The two UFC icons met twice in 2013, with Weidman emerging victorious both times under very different circumstances.
His first win saw him end Silva’s seven-year middleweight reign with a stunning knockout in the second round. The rematch ended in the same round, but only after Silva’s leg was broken when Weidman checked a kick.
They will now meet again but this time it will be over six rounds boxing ring.
Silva and Weidman are far from the only UFC stars to try their hand at boxing. Let’s see how six other fighters fared when they turned the octagon into a squared circle.

mike perry
mike perry Made a promising start to his MMA career by winning his first nine fights.
However, she struggled to advance in title contention and lost seven of her last 10 fights, finishing with an overall record of 14–8.
After finishing with the UFC in 2021, Perry opted to try other combat sports.
He took up bare-knuckle boxing for the first time and won his first five contests, defeating legends like Michael Page. luke rockhold And Eddie Alvarez.
This creates an opportunity for him to box Jake Paul in July 2024. Perry had lost by knockout to Kenneth McNeil in his only previous boxing match nine years earlier, and he came up short against Paul.
Perry dominated from the start and was eventually stopped in the sixth round.
He has since returned to bareback fighting and scored a knockout victory over fellow ex-UFC star Jeremy Stephens earlier this month.
Tyron Woodley
We quickly move on to another fighter who has shared the ring with Jake Paul twice.
Tyron Woodley Reached the top of the mountain in the UFC when he knocked out Robbie Lawler in the first round for the welterweight title in 2016.

He retained his belt for almost three years before being defeated by Kamaru Usman. That loss caused a slump in Woodley’s career as he suffered four consecutive losses before being walked away from the UFC in early 2021.
Just a few months later, Paul came calling and Woodley accepted the challenge.
Woodley and Paul battled it out over eight rounds in August 2021, with the latter getting the nod via split decision.
After a close first fight, a rematch was arranged for December 2021. This time, Paul got a far more decisive victory as he landed a huge overhand in the sixth round, leaving Woodley unconscious on the canvas.
Four years later, Woodley has not stepped into a boxing ring again, and at the age of 43, it looks like his fighting days are over.

nate diaz
We can also move on to another ex-Jake Paul opponent, Nate Diaz.
Diaz fought Conor McGregor twice in 2016, scoring a surprise upset in their first meeting before losing on points in the rematch.
Inactivity was a problem in his final days with the UFC as he had only four more fights in the six years following his second fight against McGregor.
After completing his time in the Octagon with a submission victory Tony FergusonDiaz turned to boxing and fought Jake Paul in August 2023.
The experienced southpaw gave a good account of himself, but suffered a one-sided points defeat.
The following year he renewed his rivalry with Jorge Masvidal. The pair faced each other in 2019 at UFC 244, with Masvidal winning after the doctor stopped the contest at the end of the third round.
However, Diaz got revenge by majority decision in their boxing rematch.
Diaz has not fought again since, but a rubber match with Masvidal cannot be ruled out.

Tony Ferguson
Tony Ferguson fought Diaz in the latter stages of his UFC career, when he was no longer the force he used to be. But, at the peak of his powers, Ferguson was one of the best fighters on the UFC roster.
At one point he won 12 consecutive bouts, a run that led him to claim the interim lightweight title.
However, a damaging knockout defeat to Justin Gaethje in May 2020 proved to be the beginning of the end for Ferguson at the highest level as he went on an eight-fight losing streak.
His last defeat came at the hands of Michael Chiesa last August and Ferguson has opted to switch to boxing in 2025.
His first boxing match came on the Misfits card in August against TikTok sensation Salt Papi.
Ferguson overwhelmed his opponent in the third round with a flurry of punches, forcing the referee to intervene, and claimed his first victory in six years.
Ferguson is now 41, but has hinted that he may be involved in another Misfits show in the future.
luke rockhold
Luke Rockhold snatched the UFC middleweight title from Chris Weidman a decade ago, but not much has happened for him since.
His reign lasted only six months, when he was defeated by Britain’s Michael Bisping in the first round of his first title defense.
Rockhold then won only one of his four UFC bouts as he failed to get back into the title mix.
Like Mike Perry, Rockhold also went the bare-knuckle route first, and the pair clashed in April 2023.
Rockhold’s shortcomings were exposed as he was stopped in the second round after taking significant punishment.
He then tried his luck in boxing early in the year and agreed to a fight with former UFC contender Darren Till.
Till dominated from the start and produced an impressive performance, knocking out Rockhold in the third round.
Rockhold just turned 41 and it looks like his brief foray into boxing is behind him.

Darren Till
British star Darren Till has been the most successful crossover fighter on this list.
At one point it seemed like Till was poised to win a UFC title after an 18-fight unbeaten run early in his MMA career.
However, it all came crashing down when he was submitted by Tyron Woodley while challenging for the Welterweight Championship in 2018.
Till would lose four of his next five fights and has not promoted in the UFC since 2022.
It looked like his career was on the wane, but he bounced back in an exhibition boxing match last June and knocked out Mohammed Muti in the second round of their fight in Dubai. This increased excitement and he later signed a deal with Misfits Boxing.

Till was scheduled to fight Tommy Fury earlier this year, but the grudge match was canceled after Fury pulled out, leaving Till facing MMA star Anthony Taylor.
Till scored a sixth-round stoppage victory and followed that up with a decision victory over Darren Stewart four months later.
His most interesting win came in his last fight when he defeated Luke Rockhold. These two guys could have easily met in the UFC but missed each other. He set out to make up for lost time after the opening bell in August, hurting Rockhold on several occasions before finishing him in the third round.
It’s been a sensational 2025 for Till, and he may face another fight before the year ends.
